Immerse in ancient Vietnamese culture with an excursion to Duong Lam, one of the country’s few remaining ancient villages. Explore houses over 400-year-old, wander around narrow alleys, visit local temples and chat with friendly locals.
Itinerary
Give something back to the community! MHPTravel is supporting a local minority English school whose students love to practice their conversational English with foreigners. The students are from 11 years old till 14 who will be the main resource authorities for the mountainous area in the north and depending on the day you visit the school you will find yourself either playing with young kids and read stories or have discussions in English about all kind of subjects regarding Vietnam, the world and daily life of the students. On the way back visit Duong Lam village. A fun and interactive way to get to know the local people of Vietnam. Transfer back to Hanoi in late afternoon.
