Combining a full day touring around the capital Vientiane and travel out to an orchid farm where you can see more than 2,000 plants. Begin at the serene Wat Sisaket, the only temple left intact after the Thai invasion in 1828. It is one of the most beautiful temples in the capital and its breezy teak covered hallways are filled with thousands of miniature Buddha statues. Other stops include the That Luang Stupa - the holiest site in Laos, the Patuxay Monument - the Lao’s version of the Arc de Triumph where you can climb up the stairs to the roof for sweeping panoramic views of the city.

Morning, our guide will pick you up at your hotel then transfer out to visit Wat Si Muang, which is famous for its supernatural power. Continue driving to the city old quarter and visit some main sites here, including Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. Enroute to Lao’s national icon, That Luang Stupa, you can take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph.
Afternoon, transfer out of city to visit the orchid farm, where you can find more than 2 000 plants, in 300 different orchid species coming from different parts of the country. The orchids are arranged by species in a beautiful green garden in Vientiane. A spectacular view over the Mekong River at sunset is a perfect way to finish the day. Return to hotel for relax
