Ha Long Bay, literally ‘descending dragon bay’ is one of the most wondrous bay said to be created when an ancient dragon swished its immense tail. Despite being one of Vietnam’s busiest tourist sites attracting million visitors each year, the bay’s enormous scale, unique karst formations and indisputable splendor makes a visit here worthwhile experience. One day tour to Ha Long is not enough to enjoy its fullest, however it is for those who have limited time then.

8:00am: Meet your private guide and car at your hotel and transfer to Ha Long Bay, which is about 160 km. The transfer time is approximately 3 hours. Moving through the countryside on the way, you will find a clear perspective of a country’s whose 80% of population live on farming. Sometimes you can see farmers working together with their buffalo on field, a smile of Vietnamese women under a colonial hat is the picture you will meet somewhere on the way. Stop shortly for a white en route to relax before reaching Ha Long City
12:00: Arrive in Ha Long Bay, embark on a wooden boat to explore the legendary Ha Long Bay. Enjoy 04-hour cruise to visit islands and grottoes. The Bay is famous as one of the world’s wonders and heritage Sites whose formation dates back 500 million years, consists of about 2,000 karst islands and islets scattered over an area of 1,543 km2. The boat will stop at Dau Go Island for you to visit Thien Cung Cave (Heaven Palace) and Dau Go Cave (Wooden Stakes). Dau Go Cave in 13th Century was a depot to store pointed wooden stakes, which later were used by Vietnamese great military commander Tran Hung Dao to trap and puncture Mongolian naval boats in famous battles of Bach Dang. Continue cruising while fresh seafood lunch is served on board.
16:00: Return to the dock, disembark and travel back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi in the evening at about 20:00pm.
