Also referred to as Thanlyin, Syriam was once a major port during the 15th century then it was under the rule of the Portuguese in 17th century as a base for the French East India Company and finally became part of the British Empire. In spite of being in close proximity to Yangon, it remains a quiet and peaceful town.

Morning, you’re picked up at your hotel and start a tour to visit Syriam (an old port city once ruled by Portuguese trade representative) by car crossing over Yangon River. Visit around Syriam market, Kyaik Kauk Pagoda, Old Catholic Church, Kyauk Tan Island pagoda & etc. You then return to Yangon.
