About 15-minute drive from the city center, Hon Ro fish port is the largest in town. Hundreds of boats embark from the port every day. In early morning, the market here comes alive when throngs of local merchants buying fresh seafood. Next, learn how the fish sauce is made by visiting a family workshop. Afterwards, time for relaxing with a traditional Pho and indulge in mud bath or hot spring.
Itinerary
Early morning, meet our guide at your hotel and transfer about 4 km out of the city to Hon Ro fish market located by an estuary, which is often open at 2 AM on a daily basis. Observe the lively market in session with sight and sounds of sellers and buyers bargaining on catches fresh out from the sea. Leave the market and move to a nearby village to visit a family workshop specialized in making fish sauce. All the stages of fish sauce production will be shown to you from raw material selection to meticulous processing and complete products. Return to the city center for a traditional breakfast with “Pho”, the most popular noodle soup of Vietnamese and enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee. Next, moving on to Thap Ba Hot Spring Center to relax and refresh. Here, you can take a mud bath or swim in a hot pool filled with hot mineral water from a natural spring inside the center. Back to the city and end the tour
