Detail Itinerary

Morning, our guide will pick you up at your hotel then transfer out to visit Wat Si Muang, which is famous for its supernatural power. Continue driving to the city old quarter and visit some main sites here, including Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. After that, we will transfer to Thangon (20Km from the center), which is very famous for the leisurely lunch cruise along the lazy Nam Ngum River. This is really the escape from daily busy life, which you never want to miss when visiting Laos.

We come back to the city mid-afternoon to continue our visit. En route to Lao’s national icon, That Luang Stupa, you will have the opportunity to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph.
